Jenny Craig’s newest Jenny-Set-Go
There are some people who can leap into a pool, while others need to inch into the water a little at a time. When it comes to losing weight, I fall into the latter group. Juggling all the elements of a weight loss regimen - maintaining a clear workout regiment, preparing healthy meals, and always staying motivated - sometimes leaves me feeling overwhelmed and in need the proper encouragement to keep going.
Enter Jenny Craig's newest program Jenny-Set-Go. Jenny-Set-Go offers a 28-day program to help you ease into a slim and healthy lifestyle by making things fun and easy. The program employs a number of creative tools, including a deck of 28 cards with personalized workouts and healthy recipes to help you stay on track with your weight loss goals.
They also have iTunes playlists to pump you up during your workout – something a music junkie like myself will particularly appreciate. Jenny Craig also provides a daily meal plan consisting of breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and dessert. The plan starts at $30 plus the cost of food which ranges from $12-$18 per day (based on individual person’s menu preferences and calorie intake).
In the spirit of promoting health and wellness, Mom Central is offering our readers the chance to win one gift certificate for Jenny-Set-Go and a one month supply of food (all valued at over $500).

I know for me I sometimes get discouraged and when I don't see results quick enough I want to give up. So for me this is what I say to myself when I need encouragement.

My children seem to be my greatest motivation, although not in the way that most would think. When my 11-year-old politely (and yes, he does manage to do it in the most polite way possible!) says to me, "Mom, are you sure you want to wear those shorts? Maybe you should try some that are a little more loose," or "Mom, how about instead of another cookie we have some apples?" that tells me that while I do not consider myself incredibly overweight, he recognizes that I've put on a few pounds and knows that it makes me a little depressed. I assure you, he isn't doing it to be rude, mean, or hurtful! He makes it very clear that he wants me to be happy, and he knows I am not happy when I start gaining weight back! :)

My motivation is my Lord and
My motivation is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He tells me in His Word, the Bible, that because He has redeemed me that my body is not my own. It now belongs to Him. He now resides in this temple. Since He has now taken up residency in this body, and it is the temple of the Living God, I want to take care of this temple for Him. It is still very hard because of my sinful flesh, but He helps me not to give up, even when I give in to the lusts of my flesh. God picks me up over and over again. I have never tried this kind of weight loss program, but I believe if would be a great help in getting this temple back in shape, all for His glory! Thanks!

I admit motivation is
I admit motivation is probably the hardest part of trying to get healthy. Some days I just don't feel up to exercising. I've never been a big eater but I've never been really active either. I guess my best motivation is my kids. I had my oldest daughter 10 weeks early and had smoked during my pregnancy. I know now it wasn't my smartest choice but I managed to quit the day she was born and I've never looked back. It was excruciating as I was up every three hours to pump while she was in the NICU but it was her little face that kept me going. Now 13 years later, it's all three of their faces that will motivate my health.
