Growing up we always managed

Growing up we always managed to be on family vacation during Father's Day. Wrapped up in our excitement over the coming trip, my sister and I never remembered to bring a gift or card for Dad. We'd give him extra hugs, which invariably turned into bear hugs, and tell him we loved him "soooo big!" And while not one single Father's Day stands out, I can't help but smile at all of the good family memories I have surrounding Father's Days with Dad over the years.

My favorite Father's day

My favorite Father's day moment has to be my husband's first. After several losses, it was good seeing him hold his 3month old daughter and have tears of joy.

This is very distressing for me. I had a very good and sweet dad, I loved him dearly. But I can't remember back to any father's day we shared when I was young. Only remember the ones after I had moved out of the house. So Sad

My favorite father's day

My favorite father's day memory is my Mom waking me and my brother and sister and all cooking breakfast for my dad in the Kitchen. When we were done there was flour and ingredients everywhere. My Dad had the biggest smile when we ran into his room to wake him up and we all got into bed and ate together. It was the last Father's Day we all had together before he passed away. I keep the tradition going though with my son and his Father. Now it's will be his favorite memory too.

My favorite Father's Day

My favorite Father's Day was

My favorite Father's Day was the first one I had with my son. who is now 22. I raised him as a single mom and felt like I celebrated every father's day and mother's day. I work for a major card company and we need cards for just this. Mother's Day cards for single dads, and vise-versa.

My favorite father's day

My favorite father's day moment was when I was with him during father's day time 3 yrs ago. He lives in India and we meet rarely but it was once that we could meet around father's day. I gave him a card and was shocked to know that it was his first card ever. He still saves that card in a spl box.

The best Father's day I would

The best Father's day I would say hands down the first year Hubby was on the road and me and the boys took photos and made a huge banner with their scribbles and hand prints and photos. He loved driving up to it. It's still hanging above his dresser.

My favorite Fathers day

My favorite Fathers day memory was when we all finish eating dinner and my Father would put his favorite music on. He wouLd dance around the table to choose someone to dance with. He would pass my Mom and granny and I would have a smile from ear to ear because he would pick me and I would love to dance all night with him! That was my favorite daddy moment, when he would be mine and we would dance and talk and giggle!! I'm glad I have all these wonderful memories, you just don't know when they will end!! Now, I let my husband pass that tradition with my girls, they each get their special moment with daddy!!

I don't have just one

I don't have just one favorite Father's Day memory, but I love when we have a picnic and I am able to throw the baseball with my dad. Nothing like picnics and baseball!

Thank you for the chance to win!

My dad just passed away a few

My dad just passed away a few months ago and we miss him everyday. He was a sports fanatic and can match wits about any sport. Father's day weekend last year, I was able to be in his company and watch the NBA playoffs. Just listening to him educate me on the different players and their contribution to the sport was amazing. He is greatly missed and it's little moments like that I'll always treasure.

One of my favorite Father's

One of my favorite Father's Day moments happened the year my brother was born. My sisters & I were at my parents' summer home with our grandparents when the phone rang. It was my dad calling to tell us know that there was a new member in our family. It was quite fitting that the first boy in our family was born on Father's Day.

My dad and I spent one

My dad and I spent one Father's Day on vacation in Georgia. He was always taking us kids everywhere. Even on the days it should be all about him, he always makes it about us. He's truly the best father ever! All he's ever asked for on Father's Day is a coconut cake ... so guess what I'm baking this weekend? :)

I let my husband open his

I let my husband open his gift early this year, best one yet he said. What did we get him? A looftlighter (fire thrower of sorts) of course!

My favorite father's day was

My favorite father's day was my husband's 1st father's day. We had just bought a house and had our first child-we were broke! I didn't have anything extra to spend on gifts and couldn't think of what to make him, so I made him his favorite meal. It's a recipe that's handed down to the women in our family and was his favorite as a kid. Because I was very busy trying to figure out how to just take care of our child, there wasn't much cooking going on at home. I also made him a blueberry pie.

He was so happy to get his favorite meal and dessert-which he ate with our daughter in his arms-that it is my favorite father's day memory, even after all of these years.

2 years ago when my husband

2 years ago when my husband celebrated his first father's day. I took our daughter to get pictures taken in his favorite basketball teams gear. The smile on his face when he opened the pictures was the biggest one I think I have ever seen....

One of my most memorable

One of my most memorable Fathers Day was when my Dad was sick and knowing we didn't have much time together. We started to have long talks and it still means the world to me even though he has been gone 23 years

One of my best memories of my

One of my best memories of my Dad being a great Father and friend was when he worked in the local cotton mill, which is now closed. He always brought me a treat home from work out of the vending machine. Even if someone had stolen his lunch that day. Which happened often. He always brought me Juicy Fruit gum or a Zero candy bar. Which I still love today, these always remind me of my Dad.
