At what age does this start? I think it's something Liliana is experiencing right now. Every time I leave the room and there's not another adult present she starts to cry. She sounds so pitiful too Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? As long as she's in the same room with me she's fine but I worry that it might not be good to always bring her with me.

I read the other categories!!! I just haven't been on in awhile. Ashley went through this very bad at about that age & I just let her cry. If I had to go to the bathroom I would put her in the pack n play & go instead of taking her with me. She cried..but after a few days when she realized I always came back she stopped crying when I left the room..But I also think you need some time with just Elijah! I take Ashley to gymnastics every Friday & my mom watches Owen, it's nice to be just the 2 of us.

Bay went through this when i first joined the gym. It was the first time she was left alone with a non family member and she wasnt happy about it. She got use to it and she is fine now. She does get upset and runs to me when she sees me like OMG how did you leave me here alone. I would just give her more chances to be away from you
