How much did you baby talk at 18 months. Bay is goign to be 18 months next week and really doenst talk much. Actually she really doesnt talk at all. She communicates very well but her only really words are people. Like mama dada nana ema and pepa. She still kinda hums her words. I dont know if i should be concerened or just give her some more time

I wouldn't worry too much about her speech yet. As long as she is trying to communicate I think that is the important thing.

I am trying to remember how much Lauren was talking at 18 months and I think it was a lot of simple words like ball, please, dog, Barney, etc. Every kid develops differently though. I would say that if she hasn't progressed by two years then that might be more of a cause for concern, but 18 months isn't very old. You will be surprised how much she starts talking when she does.

Elijah only knew a few words at 18 months. He hasn't stopped talking since he hit the 2 year mark. I'd give it a few more months and then bring it up to the doc at her 2 year Well Baby.
