So when we decided to name our soon-to-be-born daughter Eris Nevaeh, everyone was like "uh...what?". lol! But now when people see her in her cute little pigtails and big grin (she's 20 months), they ask her name and you know what? Everyone ends up loving it!
When you decide you want to truely name your baby something and that name really holds a place in your heart, go ahead and name your baby that name no matter what others say. Names shouldnt be about whats popular or even "normal", naming your baby should be about love. And as long as you dont name her say... Popcorn or Chevrolet, lol, I'm sure she'll love her name too! (after, of course, those awful teenage years) ^_^

I think you named your baby a beautiful name. My girls were named Laila and Zaharrah. My graddaughters' are Mikeala and Oni. A name should always come from the heart. You can never go wrong that way.
