We have two daughters and we use the same nickname for both...CHICKY DOODLE, it is shortened depending on the mood: chick, chicky, chiclet, chick-doodle, my husband uses the nickname also, I don't know why I started calling them this, just came out one day when my first born was just a few days old.

Destany is Des, DJ and Phoenix is Turtle. Not sure why but you can call him by his name and he wont hear but the moment you saw turtle he responds. Grandma calls him nixon

I call my daughter Brooklyn Bug. I started calling her that at my first ultra-sound, I was only 9 weeks along so she just looked like a little bug and it stuck lol!!
