I always try to do something really special for my children on valentines such as having a single rose delivered to each at school, baking special goodies or being silly with things that I have bought them for Valentines.
One year my children needed new coats scarves and boots. So I purchased large Valentine apes, dressed them in the new coats, scarves and boots and positioned them on my childrens beds holding a big heart of chocolate. When they went to put their school things away they found them.
And laughed about it for days.
So I guess my favorite part of Valentines is the anticipation on their faces when they get up on Valentines morning. As they never know what the day will bring. But they do know how much I love them.

I can’t wait to write out the cars with him.
