While managing family members’ schedules, your own priorities can fall to the side. I know when I have a hectic week and fail to stick to my gym schedule, my confidence just isn’t at its highest. I know a few missed gym days don’t result in a noticeable difference in my appearance, but I just can’t get myself to put on the cute new pencil skirt hanging lonely in my closet.
In 2009, Beth Gold-Cohen was confronted with her own version of the confidence dilemma. Her foe- the infamous “muffin top” that leggings find a way to highlight. Through a spur of the moment effort of sewing her leggings to her high-waist control top undergarment, she invented what became the model for Lissé Leggings.
