Children inspire their Moms everyday, just as Julie Clarkâs daughter did leading to the beginnings of Baby Einstein. Looking for a way to share her love of the arts with her newborn, Julie created the first Baby Einstein video in her basement, one that would encourage interaction between baby and parent. From there, the idea grew into a company that would inspire parents across the country to share new interactive experiences with their children.
An art and literature teacher, Julie founded Baby Einstein in 1997. Her first two videos were Baby Einstein and Baby Mozart, which she filmed with borrowed equipment and then edited on her simple home computer. After five years, 10 videos, and 30 books, she brought Baby Einstein to a much broader stage through The Walt Disney Company, allowing her to share her innovation with families everywhere.
Whether launching a company, surviving breast cancer, supporting charities she cares about, or raising her family, Julie proves her passion and dedication time and again. As a successful Mom entrepreneur, we at Mom Central consider Julie Clark to be an inspiration.
