How cute these are! We climb trees and imagine all the places we can see.

We craft all sorts of fun things out of play-doh, we use our imagination and come up with fun scenarios, we sing in the microphone and play on the piano, and we do science experiments in the kitchen. Lots of ways to get creative with the kiddo.

We foster creative playtime by setting time aside for art only activities.

I foster playtime by encouraging the kids to use their imagination and buying toys like dolls and games where they can be creative. I encourage them to get outside and play and have fun.

My children have great imaginations so they don't need much help but I do like to buy toys, games & crafts that encourage them to be creative

Isabella has a very unique and creative ability to make all of her toys become part of her everyday routine. She will incorporate each animal or pal into the shows she watches or invite them to dinner and even make them all "her baby". We love watching and playing with Isabella has her creativity soars and she makes friends with her little ones.

we love dolls and especially ones that are easy to change there hair and clothes have used some dolls it takes forever to get the clothes on. would love this

They are sooo adorable. My daughter would LOVE the pink one... She's obsessed w/pink as i am with purple. lol

my daughter has started to enjoy playing school, and so I let her lead class and I pretend I'm one of the kids!

When I get home from work, I engage my daughter in a creative art project so that I can get dinner started.

We've always kept all kinds of art supplies available, even small tools. I allowed the kids to do their thing and then I also had crafts I would do with them. We've made everything from forts to small playhouses and lots of our our play furniture, oh and our own version of play mats for cars and trucks.

Allowing to express their ideas when we play or when we read with direct questions, like "How do you think we could build this?" or "Let's think of something that could get Lightening McQueen out of this situation!"
Just allowing children to express themselves and be patient with what they say at their pace. This is just one of the ways to foster creative and free thinking.

I like to particioate in playtime with my grandkids - for example, I am the customer ordering in a restaurant while they cook my order in their play kitchen.

My daughter has a big box of little toys under her bed and she plays with the altogether in different ways.

I encourage and foster creative playtime for my children by allowing them to have access to the make-believe chest and our creativity drawers in our pantry. At any time during the day they are free to get out paints, crayons, stamps, foam pieces, feathers, play dough, google eyes, stickers, craft sticks,(you name and it is in our creativity drawers), and create whatever their hearts desire, their imagination is the limit! Often times they stop at the make-believe chest before heading into the kitchen to attack the creativity drawers. So it isn’t unusual to come down in the morning and see a Super Hero, a Princess, and a Rock Star (guitar and all) creating a prehistoric forest with a pink play dough castle in the center. It can get messy at times but I wouldn't have it any other way!

My kids love to pretend. They play house, school, restaurant and other themes. They use toys and items from around the house in creative ways.

We have a huge bin filled with art paper, construction paper, pipe cleaners, stick on eyes, paints, crayons, markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, glitter, stencils, stickers...... SO MANY DIFFERENT art supplies..... I just get the bin out, spread some newspaper on the counter, add some old magazines/comics for inspiration, and let them have at it....... usually I will give them a theme to work with like "Mexico"... then I'll put some salsa music on the stereo, make them a tray of nachos.... it keeps them busy for HOURS!!!!! :)

I expose her to many interesting things and places but where play is concerned, I largely just let her do her thing. Play is play, kids are naturally creative and curious. She amazes me sometimes with the things she come up with!

we have lots of play food and kitchen set - you can only imagine the different types of meals that are prepared for me. They really use their imagiinations here.

I sit back and let my daughter just play. If she wants to put neon pink shoes on her doll when the outfit really calls for brown, so what? If she decides to color the puppy in her coloring book green instead of a more neutral, natural tone, so what? She is using her imagination, and that's what is important. :)

I love to get out pieces of material and glue and paints and clay and playdough . We even make our own playdough and they make their own crystal garden. We make slime and always look for new things to create. We also make paper dolls and clothes for them to wear! We all have so much fun!

my baby is less than an year old and has recently started crawling ...i sing and dance with her along with some musical toys when its playtime. she really dances when any music is on.

With art!! by letting my kids pick a project and doing whatever their little heart chooses.

It's the grandchildren I play with these days but dress up is still a favorite game. I have a stash of notebooks, markers, crayons and stickers for them too so they can make, color and create their own pictures.

I let my children use their imagination so they always are exploring something new.

My almost 5 year old daughter is in love with "pretend" play. She is always grabbing something and pretending to be a mom, sister, doctor, dancer etc. She loves playing with Barbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Little Pet Shops and My Little Ponies. This new offering will allow her to really increase her creativity since she can change them based on her moods / imagination. I would love to win this for her. And her birthday is coming up :O)

I try to offer open-ended toys, that can be used in many different play scenarios.

One thing I try to do a lot of with my kids is to help them play creatively with their toys. Sure, my son has a bin of Star Wars guys and my daughter has a drawer of My Little Ponies - but I sit with them and encourage them to play with them together, in one big crazy world with animals and Smurfs and Strawberry Shortcake and the Seven Dwarfs and Trolls all living together and interacting in completely new ways.

We love to play dress up and my granddaughter loves to play nurse. She takes care of me when I am "sick"...:)

We play tea party, we color, we go outside a lot and play all over the neighborhood. We love playing. Dolls are great for this!!!

This would be a great toy for my kids. They love to play with toys that require them to use their imagination.

I'm an artist and art teacher. So I always buy real supplies versus "kid" supplies. They're better quality and less frustrating to work with. For instance, real watercolors have true color whereas ones like Crayola produce faded washed out color. This way kids also learn how to properly take care of brushes and other art tools. And I'm not afraid of a lil mess! Freedom to do/make what you like goes hand in hand with creativity. :)
