Carter’s Makes Halloween Special for Little Ones

Who else can’t believe summer is winding down? The leaves are dropping off trees and swirling at our feet. Fall is heading toward us full force. Which makes me think of my favorite holiday – Halloween. It isn’t necessarily the bags of candy I buy way in advance so I can sneak a piece or 10, but the festive atmosphere that takes over the neighborhood as kids trek through the streets in their spooky finery looking for a treat.

My little one was too young for any real trick-or-treating last year, and my older one was just a little too old at 13 (although she went out trolling with her friends anyway). But this year, I get to live Halloween all over again as Kaia can now walk and talk on her own.

Carter’s has once again come out with its line of adorable costumes fit for the little ones. Not only do they features toddler-favorite animals such as ducks, cows, and kitties, but they are made of micro fleece and padded for comfort. Where we live in New England, there is no telling what the weather forecast will hold for October. Comfort and warmth are key to a successful Halloween experience.

Since Kaia is obsessed with her grammy’s cat, we thought a kitty costume would really get her in the spirit this year. Can’t wait to take her out – wait until she learns strangers put candy in that pumpkin!
