I can't remember a time when I didn't get Smuckers jelly. Grape for the PBJ's and strawberry for toast.

For birthdays, instead of big expensive gifts (for the adults), we make each other ANYTHING the other wants for dinner and dessert. Usually, my husband and I request a homemade cheesecake for dessert and I try to make a different fruit topping using Smuckers brand jellies and jams and fresh fruit each time. My favorite is strawberry but we have tried just about every flavor combination. That ham recipe looks absolutely fantastic! I might try it this week!

Everyone around the table at dinnertime is standard at my home also.

My family is part Sicilian so not to be cliche but pasta is a big tradition around here! We found out one of my daughters is allergic to tomatoes, all peppers, & black pepper (which is different from regular peppers) so that has made us come up with some creative sauces! contestd(at)hotmail(dot)com.

I'm feeling a little embarrased that we don't really have a mealtime tradition... though, we are trying to eat together as a family more often!

When I was growing up, we were all expected to be at supper each evening where grace was said before the meal.

Every night we sit down to a family meal that includes grace first.

We always sit down together and wait until everyone is seated before we start eating. We also say a prayer and try to ask everyone about their day.

I suppose our tradition is simply to have the meal together every night. It's important to sit around the table, laugh and talk - share the days activities. There is something special about the kitchen table that many people miss out on but it's always been the central place of home, a material representation of love.

We pray before our meals and talk about our day. We try to eat together as often as possible,but it only happens 4-5 times a week because of work, sports, etc. so we really appreciate the times we have to eat and talk together.

smucker's is the only preserve that I purchase... simple and pure.

Every summer my neighbors will all get together for a potluck party. Everyone tries to come up with unique simple dishes. I definitely enjoy this little tasting party. We always have good food and fun!!

Every holiday my girls and I scour to find an exotic way to make the holiday meal and we make it together. It's better than traveling on the holiday.

When my kids hear that its Thursday taco night, they scramble to the dinner table for home made tacos, then devour 2 to 3 tacos each.They also love Movie Night Fridays (which includes having pizza ,popcorn & watching movies). Another favorite tradition is Saturday Board Game Night
we play all thier favorite board games & enjoy tons of munchies we have for dinner, for example nachos, cheese sticks, meatballs, etc..

Our favorite tradition every Thanksgiving, we make our famous homemade potato salad and mac and cheese!

We eat a big Sunday dinner at my parent's house. My son looks forward to it every week.

My family actually uses the Smuckers Orange Marmalade in our slow cooker ribs recipe. Yum!

We like to take turns praying before the meal and our kids love when their turn or popcorn prayer comes up.

Our family and another family always get together on New Years Day to eat and watch football.

i love SMUCKERS i add apple jam to my cupcakes they come out moist, I also add a tbs.of cherry jam to my mole (Hispanic dish) it's great

When we were little and eating dinner, my dad would always tell us jokes at the dinner table. We continue the tradition and tell funny stories and things to make our family laugh.

BTW Love Smucker's Peanut butter. If you haven't tried it you don't know what you're missing. Ingredients; Peanuts, salt. I use a single beater in my hand mixer to give it a good mix and keep it in the fridge. Nothing like a crisp piece of celery and a jar of Smucker's!!

Since it's coming up quickly, our family mealtime tradition for St. Paddys day is to make corned beef and cabbage with Irish Soda Bread. And everyone always looks forward to my green pistachio pudding cake for dessert!

Every Sunday we eat dinner together as a family, talk about upcoming plans and events for the week and then watch our Sunday evening television shows line-up together.

I have 4 children and each week one child gets to pick one night where they get to pick the family dinner, all of them look forward to their picks

Me and my brother rarely connected as children but I cherished the rare moments that he would make me a PBJ sandwich when he would make him one for himself.

We like to cook together and even show our 19 month old what we are doing. She helps get the bowls and utencils. She is such a good helper and it's good family time :) <3

I have my parents and inlaws over every Sunday for a huge family meal. I want my kids growing up knowing their grandparents(growing up, my family wasnt close) and this ensures they see them at least once a week.

We have a family tradition that is both a serious and silly. We sit together for dinner and you have to talk about 'one new thing you learned today'. It goes back to the saying 'you learn something new every day'. I don't really remember how it started because it's been going on for so long. Sometimes it's something interesting, sometimes it's something serious, and sometimes it something downright silly but it definitely makes everyone think, talk and laugh together.

We love Smuckers, have for as long as I can remember. I thank Smuckers for coming out with sugar-free versions so my darling hubby can still enjoy an occassional toasted muffin. And I love using what I call the 'bottom of the jar' Smucker's for some of my dinner sauces or marinades.

Christmas dinner is the one time when we all get together. I have kids that live out of state and I love seeing them while celebrating the holidays.
