Go Green in the Kitchen

I love to cook, and few things please me more than whipping up a spectacular meal for my family. While I’ve always relied on traditional non-stick pans to make the post-meal clean-up a little easier, I recently made the decision to look for different alternatives for my cookware collection.

As part of my search, I became aware of a few “next-generation” pans that incorporate new materials and innovative product designs for a whole new approach to cooking.

One of my favorites is the Green Earth Pan by Ozeri, which spans 10 inches in diameter, offering plenty of space for a variety of cooking techniques.  The non-stick surface contains no chemicals and its unique textured surface creates air pockets to distribute heat underneath food to prevent sticking and enhance cooking.  The ceramic bottom remains scratch-resistant and easy to clean.  The Green Earth Pan serves as a bright new addition to my kitchen.

A different frying pan, the Earthpan skillet, represents another non-stick alternative.  This 12-inch pan uses unique SandFlow technology to provide a nonstick surface.  The Earthpan company promotes a “Go Green” culture by using minimal greenhouse gasses during manufacturing and choosing 100% recyclable packaging material.

Disclosure: Mom Central received samples of the Ozeri Green Earth Pan and Earthpan skillet to facilitate this review.
