Review: Splenda with Fiber

Splenda with fiber

I drink my coffee with Splenda. I like the taste of it, plain and simple.  Imagine my surprise to learn that Splenda has introduced a "fiber" product to the market- Splenda with Fiber

Did you know that the average adult should consume 25 grams of fiber a day, but only gets 13?  How much do you get? I try my best to boost my fiber every single day, through eating whole wheat products, lots of fruits and veggies, and any food products that are high in fiber per serving.

You might be wondering why fiber is so good for you.

  • Lowers blood cholesterol levels.
  • Helps control blood sugar levels.
  • Aids in weight loss.
  • Normalizes bowel movement, helps maintain bowel integrity and health.
  • Foods that are can help boost your fiber intake- grains and whole grain products, fruits and vegetables, beans/peas/other legumes, and nuts/seeds

I tried the new Splenda with Fiber and LOVE it. It tastes exactly the same as the regular Splenda, yet as the additional benefit of having fiber. There is one gram of fiber PER packet of Splenda.  Each packet sweetens like two teaspoons of sugar.
This is truly awesome.  I already eat a decent amount of fiber and now by using Splenda with Fiber, I am getting more fiber in my diet and this can only be a good thing for my overall health.

Go ahead and try it.  Your body will thank you!

Disclosure: This review is truly my own.  I was not provided compensation or free products. I purchased the Splenda on my own.

re: Review: Splenda with Fiber

Personally for me splenda leaves a horrible aftertaste in my mouth. I try to avoid it at all costs. I have had friends who have had bad headaches after eating splenda products but I never had that. JMHO.

re: Review: Splenda with Fiber

Hi Juanita.  I have gotten that aftertaste you speak of when I bake with Splenda, but with my morning coffee- not at all.  Ive never had headaches either from using it.  I guess it affects some but not all.  Thanks for the comment!  Lisa
