Phineas & Ferb: Across the Second Dimension Review and Giveaway

The first time I saw the main characters from Phineas & Ferb I thought they looked strange. One has a head shaped like a triangle and the other has pants pulled up practically to his armpits. These guys seemed…off. Then I watched an episode of the animated series (because I sat in the same room as my kids and the show was on) and I fell in love with this show. It’s funny, smart, and quirky. The music is outstanding, and I have a hard time choosing my favorite character.

I’m not sure who was more excited when Phineas & Ferb were set to debut in their first full-length animated feature, me or my three sons. We anxiously waited for Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension to be on TV and set our DVR weeks in advance. When you wait anxiously for something, the last thing you want is to be let down when it finally happens. Well, we weren’t disappointed. This movie had us laughing so hard we had to rewind it because we missed the next funny line. Candace absolutely rocks in the 2nd dimension (don’t worry –no spoilers here!), the music is clever from beginning to end, and of course, the Perry and Doofenschmirtz battle is better than ever. If you are an avid watcher, as our family is, the ending gives you a walk down memory lane with some of the duo’s many inventions helping to save the day.
