To any lovers of gemstone jewelry, I have your soul mate. New from Helzberg Diamonds is “Pop Expressions,” a fun, new way to personalize your jewelry. With many different styles to choose from, you can change the gemstone in your necklace any time you want. In my opinion, this line of necklaces is for everyone. You don’t have to be a super chic, New York fashion week kind of person to enjoy this glittering piece. With so many options, you can make this timeless necklace your own. I received the Red and White Crystal Frame Pop to review.
Lego Nexus Tower
Hey folks! I want to talk about two fantastic new features in LEGO Universe. The first one is the Forbidden Valley Dragon Raceway, an awesome, but also very hard, new race track. This new track has sharp turns, no edges, and is crawling with maelstrom. Plus, if you want, you can purchase some brand new race cars from the vendor right there on the LEGO Universe site. For those wondering how to get there, the track is in Forbidden Valley and all you have to do is find the jumper near the ronin area by the praying mantis pets. Nexus Tower opens! The second new feature at LEGO Universe is the Nexus Tower, a tower built to protect the source of all imagination. A little while ago you could donate all the bricks you want in the nexus jawbox in nimbus station by the race place. When you donated bricks you got achievements and were rewarded with faction tokens, S.N.A.C.K.S. and gear.
Matthew Morrison, otherwise known as Will Schuester from the hit series Glee, is releasing his album TODAY! The lead single, “Summer Rain” co-written by Matthew with Claude Kelly, is now on iTunes. I know I can’t wait to get his album when it comes out because, much like my friends, I’m very much a “Gleek” (Glee geek) and I watch it every Tuesday night. You can watch Matthew rehearsing the track below. I just realized that he is an amazing singer in real life. I didn’t know that he was an actual singer. I thought he was just an actor lip-synching this whole time! Win a signed Matthew Morrison poster! As part of this review I received a signed Matthew Morrison poster that’s now hanging in my room. All of my friends are jealous.
Zebra party decorations
In the four days I spent with Party City attending six parties, here are, in my opinion, the top fun ideas I experienced: Get some personalized M&M’s. They're a colorful way to dress up your party. Get them to go along with your theme! At Party City’s NFL party they had M&M’s for every football team. Have something unexpected at your party. For instance, at the Halloween party there was a fog machine, and that blew me away.
Queen of Hearts
Beyond good food and good friends, a good party is all about creativity. I just returned from a weekend in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where Party City put on some of the most creative parties I’ve ever seen. We went to one amazing event after another, designed for kids of all ages and their parents. There was something for everyone. Party City Blood Manor & Monster Ball One of my favorites was the Party City Blood Manor & Monster Ball – a Halloween party where we all got to go in costume as our favorite character. I was the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. (Very sparkly!) One of the things that really made the party a good one was the creativity. When we first arrived there was a graveyard next to the house and skeletons coming out of the ground. There was also a fog machine so when you first came up to the house it really set the scene. Now that’s creative!
LEGO Universe Crux Prime
Do you know about LEGO Universe? If you don’t, here’s a quick explanation: LEGO Universe is an awesome MMOG (massively multi-player on-line game) that allows you to create your very own LEGO avatar, explore awesome worlds and interact with other players. You can learn more about it by reading my blog post about LEGO Universe. I’m excited about some news from LEGO Universe. At the end of this month a brand new world is coming out and it will be awesome. The brand new world for this month is (drumroll, please) Crux Prime and it’s LEGO Ninjago themed! You can fly there soon from Crux Tower in Nimbus Station. Sounds cool, huh? I sure think it does. It sounds great because I love LEGO Universe and the new Ninjago sets seem really cool. This should be the best world yet!
Trick or Treat
When are you too old to go trick-or-treating? Well, I’m 13, in middle school, and I’m going trick-or-treating this year. Although, this will probably be my last year. Next year I’ll be in high school and I don’t think that I’d want to go anymore as many of my friends have already stopped participating in this tradition. You should be around 12 or 13 when you stop trick-or-treating because you’re entering the teenage years. I decided to go this year because I think I could get one more year of trick-or-treating in without people telling me that I’m too old to go. I also think that middle schoolers should be able to go trick-or-treating by themselves. In middle school it is “un-cool” to go trick-or-treating with your parents. So long as I’m with a group of people, I’ll be safe.
The hardest thing about writing this review was taking myself away from LEGO Universe long enough to finish it! That should tell you just how great this game is. LEGO Universe, the most recently released MMOG (massively multi-player online game) blew my mind. If you’ve played other LEGO video games you’ll have a bit of gaming experience. However, it’s also very different from typical LEGO games. Since it’s an online game, you can play with hundreds of players and build freely with every brick in existence. It’s one of the best games ever and the thing is, you never get tired of it. So with that said, we can move on. Playing LEGO Universe To log in you simply use the same username and password as your LEGO ID used on the LEGO website. (If you do not have this, simply go to lego.com and sign up for free.)
Between piles of undone laundry and last week’s leftovers, dorm rooms can build up unpleasant odors. The Fresh Wave Stinky Dorm Kit equipsstudents with odor-eliminating tools to make their dorms smell as clean ashome. The kit includes a 16 oz. bottle of Fresh Wave Odor Neutralizing Crystalsand an 8 oz. bottle of Fresh Wave All Natural Odor Neutralizing Spray. The crystals provide continuous long-term coverage and lastbetween 30 and 90 days. The protective lid peels off and ambient airflow doesthe rest of the work, spreading the odor-eliminating scent of the crystals intoa small room or closet.  The spray provides an extra burst of freshness for specificneeds, like running shoes fresh from the gym or other particularly smelly, shielded places. With a few spritzes, the spray attacks concentrated odors anddelivers a fresh scent. The spray’s non-staining formula works directly onfurniture and fabrics and targets deep-down odors.
10,001 Book
Times are tough. The economy is down, money is tight, and everyone is cutting back on their personal spending. Tips on how to extract a little more value, fun, and happiness from every dollar spent are like gold. So then here's the gold mecca: "10,001 Ways To Live Large On A Small Budget," a personal finance book filled with innovative ideas for squeezing the most juice out of any budget. It's written by the authors of Wise Bread, a widely popular and often comical personal finance blog. The book plays off of the blog's online tips and the motely crew of personal finance gurus behind them. The book chucks aside phrases like "cutting back" and "making sacrifices" for a richer, fuller (sometimes crazier) approach to getting more bang from every buck and having fun along the way!
