Postcard on the Run
With the increased use of technology and Smartphones, staying connected to family and friends – regardless of their location – becomes easier every year. Sending a digital picture helps stay in touch, but it sometimes lacks a personal touch, like the ability to be framed or hung up on the fridge. Especially when sending to a grandparent or a “not-so-tech-savvy” relative, sometimes a traditional photo print just might be necessary.
Fortunately, now you don’t need to keep a digital camera handy to capture the best photo-sharing moments. Using your smartphone, you can snap a picture and send it the old-fashion way to loved ones. The Postcard on the Run cell phone app allows you to turn any photo into a postcard and instantly mail it for as low as $0.99 (to pay for printing and shipping).
Everything can be done quickly on your phone – select the contacts or enter their addresses and click “send.” In addition, you can type a message for the back of the card and hand-sign using your touch screen. Within a few days, the folks back home will have a high-quality 4”x6” postcard in the mailbox! Capture vacation memories or important milestones with this app and stay in touch with family and friends in real time.

I love this idea! I have many out of state relatives and friends and this would be a great way to keep in touch in a special way.
What a great idea! These
What a great idea! These smartphones just keep getting better and better.I always have my phone on me and send texts checking in on my sisters and friends. Making the effort to send old fashioned snail mail is another story. Just think about it how many of us have a card already and if so what about a stamp? Not me! Just think how cool it would be for the next birthday to send a real card to a girlfriend not just a shot out on Facebook.
