Storage Solutions from Snapware
Tired of fumbling with clingy plastic wrap or shifting tin foil when storing leftovers in the fridge? Storage containers offer a solution, but angular shape of some containers makes them difficult to clean. Taking these issues into account, Snapware created a new line of storage containers practical for both your kitchen and supply closet needs.
The BPA free and dishwasher-safe 360 Serve container includes a ceramic dish and airtight lid. Available in 3 sizes (11” dinner plate, 8” salad plate and 6” cereal bowl), the simple design really serves a complete 360 of functions. Scoop leftovers onto the plate and cover with the airtight and leak-proof lid. When you’re ready, simply pop the plate into the microwave, heat and serve.
The 360 Serve also works as a modern day cookie jar. Not only does it keep your leftover dinner fresh in the fridge, but it also keeps your baked goods and other dry foods from getting stale on the kitchen counter.
The Snap ‘N Stack portable organizer goes beyond kitchen needs. I like to use these stackable storage containers to corral crafting supplies. The smaller container (6.5” x 6.2” x 1.8”) fits markers, glue sticks, tape and stickers, while the larger container (14.1” x 10.5” x 3.7) works best for paper, felt, scissors and other large crafting supplies. These Snap ‘N Stack containers help keep the crafting chaos in one manageable area with the option of carrying it from room to room with the convenient handle on top.
To help you stay organized and save time and money this fall, one lucky Mom Central reader will win a Snapware ‘Fall Solutions’ kit including the following:

TO STAY ORGANIZED, PUT THINGS AWAY EACH DAY.WHERE THEY BELONG.
My best organization tip is
My best organization tip is to do a little everyday. If you put things away as you go through them then they will be where you need them to be!
My best tip is to always put
My best tip is to always put something away immediately after using it. It makes my life so much easier if I do that.
Before you go shopping for
Before you go shopping for more detergent, more cleaning supplies, etc. Look in your storage shelves. And "shop" from your organized shelves. I organize by type of supply: hand soap, dishwasher detergent, etc. Then you can tell at a glance if you need some, or already have some.
I would love to try this
I would love to try this product for my family but more importantly for my home daycare. What a wonderful idea that so concerns itself with our future.
My advice is to get rid of
My advice is to get rid of the things that you gave not used or wore in the past 2 years.. and to organize other things I box seasonal items and clearly mark the boxes so its easy to find.. I use little hooks to hang thing that you I use often in the kitchen and I also have a hook for keys so I know where they are :)
I don;t think larger and more
I don;t think larger and more storage areas is the answer to storage. Because of the economy i have been forced to downsize. I am more organized now then in my big house but I got rid of everything other then the basics. So my tip is get rid of 75% of your stuff, you don't use it anyway. And I know you have heard it before.

I recently moved into a larger apartment with a walk in closet and pantry. It feels luxurious after my last apartment. I was able to get bins at Ikea to organize my clothes. Love them!

This is so basic, but I label EVERYthing that goes in the freezer. But I use a whiteboard marker on the outside of the tupperware lid so it is all re-writable.
Color code things! Put small
Color code things! Put small covered dots on toys that correspond with a colored toy bin. It makes it fun and easy for children to put things back where they belong.
I use old plastic containers
I use old plastic containers (you know the ones you have lost or damaged the lids) to store small "like" items in. My cake decorating items in one. I just reach up and pull the container down and it's all right in the tub. No hunting around at the last minute. Seasoning packet go in one. This works great in the sewing room too.
I have one cabinet that is
I have one cabinet that is tucked into a hard to reach corner. I cataloged everything that is in that cupboard, listed them on a sheet of paper for each of the two shelves, and put it on the inside of the cabinet door. Now I know where to get the item that I really want, and it makes sure the kids put them away in their proper place.
I organize everything with
I organize everything with plastic storage bins. You can put labels on them so that you know where everything is. From bills, to the kids games etc..... plastic storage bins work great!!!
The tip that has made my life
The tip that has made my life much easier is that I organize my kids' small toys that have lots of pieces into bins with lids, and then label them. All the bins can easily be stacked on top of each other on shelves and keeps everything from getting lost. We have a rule that only one bin can be out at a time. To get another bin, the first one has to be cleaned up and put away before another one comes down.
For example, Lego's are a huge pain to keep up with. Just get a plastic bin at Walmart, Target, Dollar store, etc and put all the lego's in it. They work great for art supplies, too!
Another tip to do, if you have young kids or toddlers, when you label the bins, put a picture of the items next to the name of the toy, that way kids that cannot read yet can still tell what that specific bin is for.
we have cloth hampers in
we have cloth hampers in every closet where we put the dirty clothes. On laundry day I just pick the all up. No excuse for my kids to leave them spread out

With food storage, I'm certain to rotate and always use older food first.
For organizing life in general, I try to get rid of things that I don't need to keep. and, I maintain a calendar of my kids' activities (color-coded by child)

Love stacking containers -
Love stacking containers - they take up much less room and are great to keep things organized! Really like the dinnerware containers - it would make it ideal for the evenings that I have to be out and can leave my daughter's gluten free diner already prepared and ready for her to eat without having to take it from several containers!
Don't overthink it! If you're
Don't overthink it! If you're anything like me, it's easy to experience organization exhaustion, so these are tips for the lazy organizer. Sorting every little thing makes me want to give up on organizing my things altogether. Instead, keep more general organizational spaces available. For instance, I keep all my flatware in one drawer, but don't organize it at all. It doesn't take me any longer to find a spoon than it would if they were sorted. I do the same thing with office supplies and writing utensils. All in the same area, but not separated. I have found I have to work with my laziness, not against it!
PS: The only place this doesn't apply is in the fridge. Tupperware makes cooking and storing food sooo much neater.

These are great--perfect for those Thanksgiving leftovers!!
One tip that I have to help keep the kids organized (we have 5--so they have sooo much stuff!)-is that we have a container for each one to keep in their rooms. It's big enough to hold their backpacks and whatever else they need for school-they even put in their shoes and clothes they are wearing the next day. As soon as I sign papers or give them clean gym clothes, etc.--I tell them to put it right in their bin. So, when it's time to get out the door for the bus in the morning, they're not running around like crazy looking for their stuff.
Thanks for the opportunity mom central!

I use a lot of clear ziploc bags to store things in, everything from the tiny snack bags up to the giant freezer bags. Since they are clear, it's easy to see what's in the bag before you even open it!
My best tip would be to
My best tip would be to tackle things as they come up, funny as that sounds. I'm trying to get organized here, and have found I've have waited so long, I don't know where to begin, I am so lost. So I would say, put everything in it's place every day, so you don't get frustrated like me, lol. These would come in so handy, tired of plastic wrap!!

I keep a medium tote with handles at the bottom of the stairs. During the day we toss things in the tote that belong upstairs. At the end of the day we take the tote upstairs and put everything away. It keeps the stairs from becoming a cluttered mess of things that need to go up!

I also print all my emails with that giveaway once it is over so that I have who my contact with a company was and their email address. It also saves space on my computer. Getting up to 300 emails a day is too much to keep on file so I found this works the best for me.
