Re:Does it matter the type of preschool? (1 viewing) (1) Guest
Choosing any type of school can be a difficult decision for a parent. Deciding which teacher is best for your child, what children you think your kids will get along and thrive with, half day or full day?

I strongly feel that the type of preschool does matter a lot in the education/well-being of a child. It sets the proper environment for learning and development.

A good preschool would help your child develop both mentally and emotionally. My elder boy (4yrs old) goes to a flexi hour daycare while I attend to the younger boy at home.

His class is small at 8:1 and they learn English, Mandarin, Science, Maths, Cookery, Art and Craft, Music & Movement. They also have gym lessons too.

I also conduct weekend playgroup sessions for him whereby I re-enforce concepts that he has previously learn or introduce him to new items.

For me I think a mix between Homeschooling and Pre-school would be best.
