Elizabeth started sitting up on her own this morning. She often wakes around 5 am and my husband puts her in bed with us. She plays between us while we sleep. This morning she kept sitting up on her own. While I was thrilled beyond words, I would push her down and give her blankie and paci to her and she would sit up again. We did this several times. I just wanted to go back to sleep, but the little darling would pull my hair and wack me with a rattle that we gave to her to occupy her so that we could sleep.
She had a check up today. While we were in the dr's office, I got a good look at her gums. She has 5 teeth coming in. I could not believe it because she is NEVER fussy or cranky. She is such a sweet baby.
She is starting to crawl too. She gets on her knees and rocks a little, will then move forward one step before dropping to her belly and dragging herself around. William never did that. When he crawled, he just crawled. The same with walking. I don't really remember him doing an army crawl like she does. I think he is going to be my little perfectionist.
They just grow so quickly. William wakes up every morning lately, comes into our room and asks "Why does the garbage truck back up?" He asks that question all of the time. He is starting to ask a lot of "Why?" questions. I may pull my hair out before he gets through this stage.
