There are some things that every mom should have in the bathroom: medications, first aid supplies, cosmetics, etc. Below you’ll find a list of what to buy and how to keep it all organized.

• To speed up your cleaning time, keep a set of cleaning supplies in each bathroom. This includes window cleaners, sink, toilet and bath cleaners, sponges, paper towels, and utility cloths. Having these items easily accessible reduces the time spent fetching them from another part of your home.
• Keep a laundry basket in every bathroom with a bath or shower.
• Use small decorative baskets to store odds and ends, such as barrettes, hair combs, hair ties, nail clippers, files, polish, makeup, and lipstick. This will keep everything in its place and reduce the clutter in your vanity drawer. Put small dabs of putty under drawer organizers to hold them in place.
• Instead of using sprays to clean shower curtains, reduce this time-consuming task by washing the shower curtain with warm water and bleach in your washing machine on a gentle cycle. It will clean soap scum as well as mildew. When washing is complete, just hang the shower curtain back on the rod to air dry.
• Place a clock in the bathroom, since this is a place where many people waste time.
• Attach a long, straight magnet to the back or side of your medicine cabinet to hold tweezers, nail clippers, and small scissors.
