Right now Ashley wears a pull-up at night and she wakes up every morning wet. How do you get them to know when they have to pee while they're sleeping? She takes naps in her big girl pants & sometimes wakes up wet, but most of the time stays dry. I have her go potty before bed & before naps, most of the time she pees, but sometimes she won't & thats when she wakes up wet from naps. I really am at a loss with this potty training thing!

I don't have much advise on this. It seems like you are doing the right thing by having her potty right before and after she naps. As for the night time thing I am still putting Lauren in a diaper. I'm scared to let her wear panties to bed. I don't want to have to get up in the middle of the night to change her sheets. I still need to buy one of those plastic bed cover things. Some days she wakes up dry and some days not. I suppose in the next few weeks I will have to talk to her about not pottying at night and wearing panties to bed. Good luck. I'm not pushing the potty training at night. I tryed she did good one night and then the next night she peed on her bed after being in bed for an hour. She went potty right before she went to bed. I dont mind buying a package of pull ups a month. Plus she loves her drink before bed

this is what we do for night time.
7:00-bedtime offer potty
10:00 go in the dark and offer potty, surprisingly the girls are so used to it and don't even wake up.
whoever pees at 10:00 wakes up dry in the morning.

I don't know what to say either because BOTH my kiddos are dry at night. I would just say offer for them to go to pee just before bed. Quite often Owen gets up during the night to go and goes right back to bed.

I have thought about getting madeline up in the middle of the night but i'm affriad she wont go back to bed
