I am at a complete loss. Ashley uses the potty all the time for pee pee, she wears her big girl undies all day & stays dry with no accidents. My problem is still the poop. Now, she holds her poop until I put her down for nap and for bed. We always go potty before nap & bed and she will tell me I go pee pee & poop, so we sit there, and sit there and sit there & she will pee but not poop, then she will say I all done & we go to bed. Well, 5 min later she poops in her pants! EVERYDAY!!!! I put her in pull-ups for both nap & bed, but I have also tried putting her in her big girl undies and she just poops in them & all over her bed. Last week I went through every one of her sheets....TWICE...before I put her back in pull-ups for bed.


What do I do???????????

You and I have been in the same boat for a while, but I have just recently started getting Lauren to consistently poop on the toilet. She still has accidents with the poop, but she has done it about 6 times this past week.

What started it is my parents had gone on a vacation and bought her a present. They told her she couldn't have it until she pooped in the toilet. That convinced her to poop in the toilet, which she did two days in a row. She got her present and lots of hugs and candy. Then two more days in a row she pooped in her panties. I told her I was taking away her present until she started pooping in the toilet again. That seems to be what worked. Now, every morning I remind her that she has to poop in the toilet or i am going to take away her present. She's been pooping two times a day recently so at least once per day she has been going on the toilet. This is definitely an improvement over what she has been doing and I am happy to take it.

Not sure if this is helpful to you or not, but it seems to be what worked for Lauren.
