Both you and your child\'s relationship with his teacher are of utmost importance for school sucess. Share information about how to establish a rapport with teachers, maintain communication, share feedback about your student, volunteer in the classroom, or handle conferences and meetings. Also, share stories about managing child/techer conflict, dealing with a poor classroom teacher, and when one should invovle the principal.

Morgan's teacher has email and an agenda book that we go by to keep in touch with the teacher. We have a conference face to face a few times a year. She's only in kindergarten right now, but it's been great being able to communicate with the teacher via email.

Ryans school is much smaller and the teacher talks to me a few times a month. She will call me if he is "misbehaving" or she will call to tell me something new they are doing.

I love the email from teachers though. I think it saves them time in the long run because they can just put their concerns in writing and wait for a reply.

That's great that they can communicate through email. I prefer it anyway. Although if it were something more serious I would still prefer a phone call, which I would assume they would do.

Oh yes, if there is an emergency they contact me by phone right away.

I love email. The teacher can check it on his/her time- not having to get into a long discussion, but keeping it on topic. Plus I don't have to leave in the middle of my day to meet the teacher.

Email is great.

I had a decent idea of what to expect going into this show. I wasn't sure if it was going to be worth my time, or just a generic show. I was surprised to find the show has a lot going for it- likable characters, and entertaining plots.
