GLOWMAMAMore and more of us are concerned with what we put into our bodies. Especially once we have kids. Keeping our family healthy means learning about nutrition, reading labels, getting creative, and being constantly aware. Yet it’s not only after we have kids that we need to concern ourselves with all of this. In fact, one of the most important times to take care of yourself is during pregnancy. Of course, getting the nutrients you need can be challenging pregnant or not; we all have busy days, eat on the go, and just don’t always have the time for healthy foods. It seems, though, that Glow Mama understands. These unique drinks, meant especially for pregnant women, are similar to flavored water. The drinks, made mostly with filtered water and fruit juice, contain no preservatives or artificial ingredients (flavors, colors, or sweeteners). What is done contain, though, is a number of nutrients most important for expectant moms: Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Calcium, Niacin, Folate, a little bit of Iron, and fiber. The fiber is key; increasing fiber intake is one of the first things newly pregnant moms are told. One of the main benefits of fiber (besides helping you grow a baby) is that it helps you avoid any number of pregnancy symptoms and, basically, helps you “glow.” The drink is flavored with kiwi, making it both unique and delicious.
