We started a year ago trying to make our house more "green" We started with small changes like changing the lightbulbs, recycling plastic and paper (and those Target bags we all have) now we set weekly and monthly goals for our family. It is a way to get children of all ages involved by giving them an individul task to help the family reach the team goal. Not only are we a "greener" family but we really enjoy the togetherness we feel when we've accomplished one of our goals.

I am trying to hard to teach my children the importance of preserving the environment. I think this would be a great "family" gift. It would definately give us some ideas and reiterate the fact that this planet will not last forever usless we ALL start to do something about it.

We buy green products for our home, including soaps and diapers, organic cotton clothing, and we recycle every week. I agree its so important to teach our children to respect the earth starting when they are babies. Seeing people litter makes me sick, and my son actually told one woman "You dropped your garbage mam!" The woman must have realized it was wrong because she picked it up!

Greenworks is 100% better than something bleach-based. I’ve used this cleaner in the bathrooms and kitchen and find that it does a good job. It’s not the best natural cleaner out there, but at least Clorox has made a good effort in jumping into the green arena.

it is very important to teach our childern about using thing that do not harm the plant. my children and i take walks every weekend were we live and always carry trash bags with us so that we can pick up the trash along the way. then we take it to be recyled.

Wow, "An Eco Showerhead water-powered light from Sylvania", I've never heard of such a thing or even imagined that it could exist.
I'm interested in what the "A bamboo baby blanket" would be like (feel) compared to other baby blankets.
