In 1997, Mom Central founder and president Stacy DeBroff left a successful career as a lawyer and founder of the public interest advising office at Harvard Law School to write books for parents and spend more time with her own two children, now ages 13 and 15. She went on to become a nationally acclaimed parenting expert and bestselling author of The Mom Book Goes to School: Insider Tips to Ensure Your Child Thrives in Elementary and Middle School, SIGN ME UP! The Parent’s Complete Guide to Sports, Activities, Music Lessons, Dance Classes, and Other Extracurriculars, The Mom Book: 4,278 of Mom Central’s Tips for Moms from Moms, and Mom Central: The Ultimate Family Organizer.

Through her parenting expertise, DeBroff has gained repeat invitations to share her down-to-earth point of view on national TV shows, including NBC’s Today Show, CBS’s Early Show, Oxygen Live with Gayle King, and The Rachel Ray Show. In addition, Stacy is a frequent guest on national and local radio programs including Daybreak USA and Date Line Washington. Articles featuring DeBroff have appeared in the AP Wire, USA Today, The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor, New York Post, and The Chicago Tribune, as well as numerous magazines, including Parenting, Child, American Baby, Babytalk, Family Circle, Woman’s Day, Redbook, and Parents.

Stacy has also been recruited by multiple national corporations in their pursuit of the mom market, because of her unique and unprecedented mom reach. She has worked with Whirlpool, Upromise, Neosporine, Pfizer, Kimberly-Clark, Office Depot, Swiffer, Kajeet, and Airborne as a spokesperson. She extended her consulting to Hollywood by working with Summertime films' Her Best Move and Lean Forward Media's Choose Your Own Adventure series.
