Sleeping routines change as kids grow. It is important to talk about these change in routines so parents can come to understand their growing childs needs. And every toddler has their nightmares that they are now beginning to talk about. How do parents deal with their night time fears?

Standing up in Crib 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
My daughter who is 9 months old learned last month to stand up in her crib. Well that was ok until this month when she will not go to sleep. This has been the best baby since we have brought her home she has slept all night long and if she did wake up go right back to sleep. Always went to bed with no problem. ( I think this is payback for bragging to all my friends that she is such a good baby) LOL. It so bad at night it takes about 3 hours to get her to go to sleep. I am about to go out of my mind. Naps are the same way. It doesn't help that me and DH are living with my parents while our house is being built and they always want to get her out of bed and let her play for a little bit longer. DH is the same way. But I don't think they understand that I am the one that has to deal with it every night. When she thinks she won the battle then we start another one after I get her away from them.. Sorry for the long post but I am going out of my mind!!! Any help would be great!!!!!!!!!!

She is testing and probably adjusting to the fact she can get up. i would stick to your guns...bedtime is bedtime....and make sure EVERYONE is board. It will take a few days of crying but she will get back into the routine.
